Is this weird...?

Is it strange that every time I see this:
I automatically try and make a word out of it? For example,

The first thing I think when I see this word is, "plug." But then, I know it isn't plug... so I look at it to try and sound it out even though I know it isn't a word. I guess it just proves this,
